What I'm Loving Wednesday

Another Wednesday, another link-up with Jamie at This Kind of Love – here is what I’m loving today!

I’m loving that I went for a run this morning (after two weeks of being sidelined by an injury – see previous post). It was just a short run and I walked about a third of the way since I was still experiencing some pain in my ankle and Achilles, but it was so refreshing to be back outside again, see the sunrise and talk with God before the hustle and bustle of the day began.

I’m loving that I haven’t had a diet soda at work this week. You know the feeling – 3:00 rolls around and we start looking for anything to get us through the rest of the workday! Typically, for me, one can of diet soda does the trick. I just haven’t wanted one lately though. Somehow, I’ve sat at my desk with my pitiful cup of water and been fine.

I’m loving unsweet tea lately. This has been my substitute for diet soda. I’ve been trying to drink less diet soda in general, so it’s encouraging that I’ve found a healthy substitute I think I can live with! If only tea could be as convenient as a can of soda is…

I’m loving Southern Nights on CMT. The mature, sophisticated me is cringing at the fact that I just admitted that. The show has no plot and is essentially all about partying and drama. I do, however, already know the characters from the show Sweet Home Alabama (which all versions of me will admit to loving!), CMT’s southern twist on The Bachelorette, and I’m a sucker for my TV shows. It’s a guilty pleasure, I guess. Anybody else loving this show?

I’m loving that Joey and I are now participating in a couples’ Bible study! We went to the first session last night and I am really excited about digging into God’s word with Joey and building some friendships with the other couples as well.

I’m loving I’ll be making a trip to the outlet stores in Blowing Rock this Saturday with my mother and grandmother. I’ve been saving my money, so hopefully, I’ll come across lots of good finds! I may or may not have done some browsing online already - assuming I have, here are some of the items on my shopping list from the J.Crew and Coach factory stores. :) Any other outlet items I should be on the lookout for?

I have been told I have a purse addiction. Do I currently need another purse? No. Will I resist buying one? Maybe...you never know when love will strike though! :)
